HOW TO BOOK

in Chalet Alpage!

Reserving your holiday | You can make a
preliminary reservation at no cost to give you time
to confirm details with other members of your party
and book your own travel arrangements. Your
preliminary reservation gives you first option on the
chalet for a period of two (2) days (this includes
weekends). If you do not confirm the booking within
this time, your preliminary reservation will lapse.
However, we will try and extend this for you if
possible and, if we agree to extend this, we would
confirm this in writing to you. Please note that any
email quote received from us is subject to
availability and does not constitute a reservation.
Any prices specified on the quote will be valid for
fourteen (14) days and thereafter may be revised.
Confirming your holiday | Having read and agreed
to our Booking Conditions set out herein, please
contact us and we will send you an invoice for a
25% deposit needed in order to secure your holiday.
By paying the deposit you will automatically agree
to these 'Terms & Conditions'
Payment can be made in cash, via bank transfer or
credit/debit card. Card payments are in £ via
paypal. Please note 3.5% will be added to all credit
card payments to cover our incurred costs.
Booking terms & conditions | The following Booking
Conditions together with the general information
contained on our website (including but not limited
in any brochure & supplement documents form the
basis of the contract between you (the client) and
us (Mountain Lodge Adventures Ltd). Please read
them carefully as they set out our respective rights
1. DEPOSIT, PAYMENT AND PRICES
a) A non-refundable deposit of 25% of booking
price per person is required on booking to secure
The booking is not deemed to exist until the funds
have reached our bank account, when your booking
b) Confirmation of your booking and of receipt of
deposit will be via email unless otherwise requested
c) Booking enquiries will be sent in £ Sterling and a
price may be requested in Euros. Prices in Euros are
calculated independently and depend on the current
exchange rate. We cannot be held responsible for
additional charges made by your credit card
company or bank.
d) The balance payment is due 10 weeks prior to
your arrival date as stated on your invoice /
receipt. (Or for all bookings made less than 10
weeks prior to your arrival).
e) If full payment is not received 10 week prior
arrival date, we will send a 'Notice of Payment
f) If full payment is not received within 7 days of
'Notice of payment being due', the booking will be
cancelled and you will loose your deposit.e) The
company guarantees the price of the holiday as
quoted at the time of booking and reserves the right
to increase or decrease the price of any unsold
holidays at anytime.
2. CANCELLATION & CHANGES BY US
In the unlikely event the company has to
change/cancel your holiday, you will be notified as
soon as possible and will have following choices:
- Accepting the change
- Accepting an alternative holiday with us at no
- Cancelling your holiday and accepting a full
refund and apologyIf we have to cancel, alter or
curtail your booking due to matters beyond our
control, such as force majeure – including but not
limited to war, civil strife and inclement weather –
we will not be able to offer a refund or accept
liability for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising
3. CANCELLATION BY YOU
Should you or any member of your party need to
cancel your chosen holiday once it has been
confirmed, the lead person who completed the
booking form must immediately advise us in writing.
Cancellation charges will then be payable as set out
below to compensate us for the cost of making your
booking and the risk that we may be unable to resell
your cancelled arrangements.
These charges are calculated from the date written
notice of the cancellation is received by us as a
percentage of the total price payable excluding any
third party charges which are non refundable in the
event of your cancellation.

Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may
be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less
any applicable excess) under the terms of your
4. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
a) We cannot be held responsible for any delayed
you incur whilst travelling to resort, even if this
shortens your stay with us.
b) All clients undertaking the activities operated by
the company and or our suppliers accept and
understand the inherent risks of such activities
therefore no claim pertaining to death or injuries
sustained in participation of said activities will be
entertained nor liability accepted by the company or
c) Chalet Alpage is equipped with various
technologies as described on the website (such as
WiFi, DVD-player, stereo, etc.) however we cannot
be held liable for any compensation or refund due
to any item not working but will make every
reasonable effort to restore the facility to working
order as quickly as possible.
The same applies to the availability of the shuttle
service around St Martin – including weather, road
conditions and technical issues.
5. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
a) It is your responsibility that visas, passports,
vaccinations, certificates and other health documents
are in order and within the necessary validity period.
It is also your responsibility to arrange
comprehensive insurance cover for your holiday.
(see 7. INSURANCE)
b) The accommodation provided is for the use of
those persons named on the Confirmation Invoice,
and subletting, sharing or assignment is prohibited.
Any damage or breakages in accommodation which
are your responsibility must be paid for by you
before you vacate the accommodation.
c) We take the security of our chalets, and of the
belongings in them very seriously. However, owing
to the nature of chalet holidays, the buildings may
not be locked at all times. Other guests and
employees will have access to the main entrance
and chalet in general. You must take reasonable
precautions for your own safety and belongings and
we cannot accept responsibility for the loss of
personal possessions during your travel period.
d) All guests staying with us are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the enjoyment of other guests. If in our opinion or in the opinion of any person in authority, your behaviour or that of any member of your party is causing or is likely to cause distress, danger or annoyance to any of our other guests or any third party or damage to property, or to cause a delay or diversion to transportation, we reserve the right to terminate your booked arrangements with us immediately. In the event of such termination our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave your accommodation or other service immediately. We will have no further obligations to you and/or your party. No refunds for lost accommodation or any other service will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of termination. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for loss and/or damage caused by your actions.
e) Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the chalets
and our vehicles. If people wish to smoke they must
